We met Michel as he was bicycling through Yosemite National Park. We first saw Michel as we were driving towards the park when we passed him about an hour before reaching the entrance. Last that same night, we ended up seeing him again as we were snacking on lunch. I asked him about his story because he was obviously on some sort of hardcore lond-distance bike trip because of his mountain bike that was loaded up with panzers and other bags stuffed to the hilt. Turns out he was French, was biking around the world (literally), and he couldn’t get a campsite or a place to stay in the valley that night. So, we offered him to stay with us at our campsite. He spent the night, and we got to hear all sorts of amazing stories he had. He went on his was up north to Canada the next day, but ended up staying with us is SF about two months later as he worked his way back down the pacific coast on his way back towards Central and South America. We snapped a few photos of him in Yomsemite, and then again when he stayed with us in SF. Months and months later, we got a few more pics from him via email about his exploits in Central America.
