White Water Rafting

Our climbing friends Joe and Sherry recently took us on a really fun white water rafting trip down the American river in the Sierra Mountains of California. They had all the gear, and were experienced rafters, so it was like we had our very own rafting guides that took us down the river. The water wasn’t running too hard, so it was a perfect first-time experience for us. There was an outfit that took pictures of rafters coming down the biggest rapid in the area, so click on the thumbnails below to see the full size pictures from that rapid.
