Here’s some photos from our Christmas holiday. We spent four days hanging out with June’s sister’s family in Davis, California.

Here’s a few pictures from our recent Thanksgiving holiday with friends and family. June’s family drove to SF from Davis, and my father flew in from Florida for a week. We had a fantastic homemade Thanksgiving dinner on the holiday, went sight-seeing on the Marin Headlands and Golden Gate Bridge, and spent some time shopping in the new Westfield Mall downtown.

June and I would like to extend a huge congratulations to my cousin Wendy and her husband Chris on the birth of the two newest additions to their family! The twins were born on Monday, August 21st. Nicholas Ward Fiertek was born first and weighed 4lbs 11 oz., and Grace Elizabeth Fiertek was born second and weighed 4 lbs 6 oz. Although they were born six weeks early, after a few weeks of special attention, the twins are healthy and putting on weight. So, congrats again to Wendy and Chris, and don’t forget to click on the thumbnail images above to see the full size versions. And just for good measure, we’ve included a couple of cute pictures of Christopher’s recent birthday party. Boy has he grown up since our previous posts about his early years!

Last Memorial Day, my nephew and I filmed this short movie about summertime fun at the neighborhood pool in Davis, California. I interviewed Liam at his house for about 45 minutes, and then later that same day, we shot a whole bunch of footage at the local community pool. I edited all of the raw interview and pool clips into this three-minute video essay of Liam talking about and demonstraing why he loves living in Davis and hanging out at the pool during his summer break.
