We’ve finally put together a short video from our Ninth Annual Chinese New Year party. It’s hard to believe that June and I have been hosting this event for nine years now, but at this point, how could we consider stopping? This year, we had nearly 70 of our close friends join us at the Jumbo Seafood Restaurant in the Sunset for another delicious ten course traditional banquet-style Chinese dinner. Attendees included friends from the local climbing community, faculty, staff, and students from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (where June works), and special guests Ted Rheingold from Dogster.com to talk about the year of the dog and the Afiara Quartet who gave an impressive performance of Franz Joseph Haydn’s String Quartet in D Major, Op. 71, No. 2 in our living room. We’d like to say thanks to everyone who participated, and I’d like to personally give a special shout out to my wife June for organizing such an incredible party, and more importantly, for baking those tastey deserts for everyone to enjoy. So please take a few minutes to check out the short video montage that we’ve posted below, and hopefully, we’ll be back next year for our tenth annual party!

A very cute video! Thanks for the wonderful parties year after year. I can’t decide what I like best - the food, the music, the desserts, or the fun with friends. It’s all good!

That was one of the best parties I’ve been to in years. The food, both at the restaurant and then back at the house was amazing. Your friends and coworkers are a super great group of people and the live performances were amazing!
Please remember me even when it’s year of Pig! Oink Oink!
